Mawby Project Group

Mawby Project Group is a management consulting firm offering assistance and counsel in the fields of Education, Governmental Affairs, Development, Finance, Real Estate, Recreation, and the Arts.

NORM MAWBY graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Arts and Letters in 1958. He was drafted into the US Army in 1958, then earned a Lieutenant's commission with the U.S. Army Adjutant General Corps in 1960. He then served as an instructor of English and History for Sun Valley High School in Green Ridge, PA from 1960-1962, and an administrative assistant in comprehensive and community planning with the Delaware County Planning Commission from 1962-1963.

He was the assistant director of the Chester County Development Council from 1963-1964. He earned a Master of Governmental Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1965. From 1964-1987 he served as township manager and chief executive staff officer for Tredyffrin Township in Chester County. Since 1987, he has been chairman of the Mawby Project Group. Norm's first publishing effort (in 2008) was "Part of the Parade", a profile of people who work for the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. He quickly followed his first book with "Balls, Bats, and More" in 2013.

Believe, Play, & Have Fun Foundation

Norm has always been passionate about helping young people furthering their education. To celebrate his 80th birthday, he began the Believe, Play, & Have Fun Foundation, with donations from his birthday party starting the foundation. Grants go to organizations that support this mission, as well as providing support for specialized Parkinson's physical therapy education.
